Our family has not been able to find information on Joseph Ashley (born before 1755 in Orange Co. NC and died after 1823 in Ashe Co. NC supposedly) whose son was Richard Ashley (b. 1792 in Surry Co.NC died 1845 in Kanawha Co. WV ) and was married to Mary "Polly" Young (b. 1802 and died in 1850 in Kanawha Co. WV). In addition we have know idea who Joseph was married to. Can you or anyone else help us?
