We have believe they are our gggrandparents, Our ggranddad was William Lafette ,We show on the 1850 census Pleasant and Nancy had Sarah 11,and William 2. 1850 showed Mary 6,and Sarah 2, With 2 other people living with them a Willy and Orval.We have been unable to find information on Pleasant after 1860 ??? We are thinking civil war or death .. I don't have much ..If you could add anything to that we would be very grateful..William went on to marry Mary Elizabeth Denny daughter of David T.and Maria (Prince) Bateman. We have been told by older family member that we are black dutch.Thanks Again
