Ruhamy Horn, sister of Timothy Horn, was my great-great-grandmother. I found your querry on the Johnson County Roots web page. You were inquiring about clora douglas that married Miller “doc” Horn and also where Miller was buried. Miller Horn and Josie Maude Howe Horn’s daughter Lydia Jane Horn Harkey is still living and is in a Nursing Home in Russellville, Pope, AR. I saw her last year. Anyway Miller is buried at Hayes Chapel Cemetery on 64 West out of Clarksville, Johnson, AR. The Cemetery is about 3 miles on 64 West from I40. There is no headstone for Miller Horn. Lydia said they were living in that area and he liked the looks of that cemetery. 1930 they were living in the Prairie Twp., Johnson Co., AR. This is between Clarksville and Hartman AR. He died 01 Jan 1931. As for Clora Douglas and her family I was going through the info you had for them and found you had her sister Rosa Lou listed as Harris. 3. Sheila, Here is the 1930 Census of the Sexton Family. 1930 Arkansas Census; Johnson County; Ward Twp; Enum. Dist. 29; Lines: 98-100; Line: 1 on next page: Sexton, Wainright S. - head - M - W - 74 - married @ 19 - KY TN TN - Farmer Sexton, Brillie - wife - F - W - 50 - married @ 20 - MO MO MO Sexton, Roy - son - M - W - 20 - Single - AR KY MO - Farm Laborer Sexton, Susie - F - W - 18 - Single - AR KY MO Even though there is a lot of conflict between the census years, it appears to be the same family from 1900-1930. Even though you stated Wainwright's name was William Wainwright, in a couple of those they state his middle initial is "S" and all the census years had him listed as Wainright (or some various spelling of the same name). Hope this all helps !! Becky Roberts Pilotsmom@classicnet.net ----------ARKANSAS----------- "I only work on Genealogy on days that end in "Y"." - Author Unknown

Jan 1879 (which makes noth correct) 1910 - 50 years old 30 1920 - 50 years old 36 Now, I am anxious to find them in 1930 to see how old they are in that. 3. Sheila, Okay, I finally found them in the 1900 Census. They lived in Madison County instead of Johnson County. See below: 1900 Arkansas Census; Madison County, Hilburn Twp.; Enum. Dist. 65; Enum. Date: June 16, 1900; Lines: 28-37: Sexton, Wainwright - head - M - W - Aug. 1861 - 38 - Married - 16 yrs. - KY TN TN - Farmer Sexton, Brillia - wife - F - W - Jan 1879 - 21 - Married -16 yrs. - 2 children, 2 living - MO IL IL Sexton, Andrew - son - M - W - Aug. 1879 - 20 - Single - KY KY KY - Farm Laborer Sexton, Leonard - son - M - W - Apr. 1884 - 16 - Single - AR KY KY - Farm Laborer Sexton, Mary - daughter - F - W - Dec. 1884 - 15 - Single - AR KY KY Sexton, Elisha (?) - son - M - W - Feb. 1890 - 10 - Single - AR KY KY Sexton, Ada - daughter - F - W - Dec. 1891 - 8 - Single - AR KY KY Sexton, Bertha - daughter - F - W - Sept. 1893 - 6 - Single - AR KY KY Sexton, Ethel - daughter - F - W - Feb. 1895 - 5 - Single - AR KY KY Sexton, William - son - M - W - Mar. 1897 - 3 - Single - AR KY KY The years of their marriage has to be a mistake since Brillia is only 21 years old, and all of these children are not hers. She also states that she has given birth to 2 children and 2 living which is Ethel and William. I also noticed I made a mistake on my previous email. It was the 1910 Census, that I was transcribing,, but I put 1900. SORRY !!
