Erie grew up and (married ?) Benjamin David Humphrey of Dover. They had a dau. Zora and when the baby was about 3, he dropped off the face of the earth (apparently). Anyone know what happened to him? I found evidence by way of "news" at the Library that he was at Catalpa in 1912 with Albert, Dan and Jasper Humphrey.

Surnames: Brown, Reagan Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/hV.2ADE/2274 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on Samuel Brown, born in Pennsylvania, son of Thomas & Isabella Brown of Ireland. In 1872 he married Anliza Reagan and had two children, Margaret Christine Brown (b. 5 Mar 1872), and Mary Brown (b. 9 Apr 1877). Margaret, who went by the name Christine, married James Porter Blount and died 28 Mar 1958. Mary married George Manley North. They had no children. Mary died 15 Jan 1963. Anliza Reagan Brown died at a very young age and Samuel remarried to Virgia (or Mary Virgia) in 1892. The girls he had with Anliza were raised by their grandparents, Thomas & Isabella Brown. They had three girls, Virgia, Leeana, and Erma. Samuel most likely died sometime between 1910 and 1920. I have a photo of Thomas & Isabella Brown and feel certain that photos of Samuel exist, probably with the descendents of his second family with Virgia. If you are one of their descendents and have a photo of him, I would LOVE to hear from you and share any info I have on Samuel. I have been able to track him and his parents through federal census reports starting in 1860 and ending in 1910. Any information is appreciated. You can email me at holly@hollywest.com. Thank you, Holly

Anliza is my "brick wall"--I can find no information other than her marriage record to Samuel Brown and I don't even know what her actual name was. The marriage record indicates her name was Anliza Ragon, but I suspect this might have been a misspelling of her surname. I would like to find out who her parents were and any other information that someone might have. In 1872 she married Samuel Brown, son of Thomas & Isabella Brown of Ireland and had two children, Margaret Christine Brown (b. 5 Mar 1872), and Mary Brown (b. 9 Apr 1877). He is my great grandmother's father. I went to Johnson County, just yesterday and looked for his marker. I did not find it. So many of the markers are badly worn, however I obtained his resting place from the genealogical resources at the library there in Clarksville. I can also tell you his son Joseph Marion Rusher is buried in Rockport Cemetery, Malvern, Hot Spring, Co., Arkansas. Buried there also in a different section is Rosie Rusher Cornett, his sister. I have pictures if you would like them and can e-mail them or snail mail them. Philip Cornett

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hV.2ADE/2270 Message Board Post: I am searching for information on a young man who died in the Clarksville, Johnson County, area during the time period of 1968 to 1973/74. His last name more than likely would have been Russell, even though his mother didn't marry his father who was a Russell. This young man would have been born in 1944-1945 in Clarksville. I believe his mother's first name was Ida or Ada, but don't have a clue on her last name. I do know that the mother was a native of the Clarksville area. The mother had a daughter who was about 14-17 years of age in 1944, but I don't know any more information on the daughter or mother. Both the mother and daughter cooked in the kitchen at the University of the Ozarks during the time period of 1943-1945 when the Navy was operating their radar school there. Sometime during the time period of 1968 to 1974/75, this young man's father was notified by our local Sheriff that "the Russell boy at Clarksville had died" or possibly been killed in an accident. It's too late to get information from the young man's father, but I would very much like to know more. This young man has siblings who are still alive and would like to know something about him and his life. Would especially like to know where he is buried. Any help appreciated.
