    1. Is anyone related to the Smelley family of Spadra?
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/hV.2ADE/2193 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on a man by the name of M.H. Smelley, can anyone help me with this? M.H. Smelley is not found in any census's, yet there is a marriage license for M.H. Smelley to my Gr Gr Grandmother Zilpha Frazier. I have been looking for information on this family for a very long time and haven't been able to find out anything about them. My Great Great Grandmother Zilpha Frazier was married first to James Milton Williams (son of William Stephen "Steve" Williams & Cordelia (King) Williams), James & Zilpha divorced before 1896, in most likely Bradley Co Arkansas. On June 3 1896 there is a marriage license for M.H. Smelley and Zilpha Frazier, this marriage was preformed by Isaac Newton Frazier, who was also Zilpha's brother. By 1910 Zilpha is back with James Milton Williams listed as his wife, in 1900 Zilpha and M.H. Smelley are not found. I do not know if there were any children associated with this marriage, if there were I have never heard of them at all. If anyone can help me on this it would be greatly appreciated. I also know that he lived in the Williamson County, Texas area in 1885. My John had a brother named James M. born in 1856 TN. I was hoping maybe Georgana was a sister of my John's father, Baseley.

    1. Arkansas Death Record Index
    2. Becky Roberts
    3. List Members, I have recently purchased the Arkansas Death Record Index. There is 4 volumes and the date range is 1914 - 1948. The books list the name, county of death, and date of death and that is all with exception of the last book and it list the age of death on some of the entries. I will do lookup's as long as you do not ask for ALL Smith's, Jones', etc etc. Please provide the exact name or possible county of death if it is known to you and limit your request to one or two ancestors. Please follow the rules of the list and indicate in the subject line "Lookup Request from the AR Death Index". Also, these books are available to purchase through the "Arkansas Research Inc". http://www.arkansasresearch.com/. If you have many ancestors in the state of Arkansas, this purchase would benefit you greatly.
