I have the cemetery, marriage etc. for J.W. Lindley. Apparently he was named guardian of my g-grandfather William L. Hinson, and his 4 sisters in 1892, I have the probate record. He was also named guardian of my g-grandfather's cousin, Samuel Joseph Hinson, in 1905. Not sure why, and haven't gotten to the real story. I know that William and his sister still had a living grandmother and mother in Jackson County. I am requesting poorhouse inmate records now, thinking that may have been the reason for the guardianship. ANyway I have copies of the Probate records, and know he is buried at battelaxe in Dowell Cemetery. You can email me a barryw@grnco.net.
