the marrige records of Jackson Co Ark have a marriage on10/2/1884 between a Holes, Adam A and a Flora Carter He is 47 and she is 21. I would suggest this might be y ours and you probably need to get the information from the county clerk to see how the last name was really spelled. The marriages where typed in by volunteers and it may have been misread. I do find a Flora Carter age 18 in 1880 cebsus in Cache towp Jackson co with her parents Ezekiel and Margaret and flora was born Ind. It is all online also.
