Hello, I am researching the WHALEY family from SC/NC>TN>IL>AR and trying to include/exclude lines. I noticed there is a John L WHALEY family in Bird/Byrd Township in the 1900, 1910 and 1920 Census records. In 1900 they appear on pg 15b: WHALEY, John L, head, Nov 1849, age 50, Wd, TN-SC-TN WHALEY, Joe, son, Dec 1886, 18, AR-TN-TN WHALEY, Ethel, dau, Dec 1887, 12, AR-TN-TN WHALEY, Rasa, dau, Nov 1889, 10, AR-TN-TN WHALEY, Willie, son, Dec 1893, 6, AR-TN-TN ROSS, George, s-law, Jul 1873, 26, MO-MO-UNK ROSS, Zilphia, dau, Aug 1871, 28, TN-TN-TN In 1910, John remarries and appears on pg 57b: WHALEY, J L, head, 60, TN-NC-TN WHALEY, Jennie, wife, 39, AR-MO-MO WHALEY, Kenneth, son, 5, AR-TN-AR WHALEY, Luther, son, 1, AR-TN-AR WHALEY, Addie, granddaughter, 13, AR-TN-TN HARRIS, Marie, granddaughter, 11, AR-TN-TN In 1920, William reappears in the family on pg 3b WHALEY, John L, head, 69, TN-NC-TN WHALEY, Jennie, wife, 49, AR-TN-AR WHALEY, William, son, 26, AR-TN-AR WHALEY, Kenneth, son, 15, AR-TN-AR WHALEY, Luther, son, 12, AR-TN-AR WHALEY, Geneva, dau, 5, AR-TN-AR I would appreciate any help on the ancestry of John L WHALEY.
