They would be the descendants of Birda Stafford Hatfield. She was on the 1910 census for Bird, Jackson Co., AR living with her parents, Thomas and Ida (Lassiter) Stafford. Birda had two children listed on this census, Willard and Opal. I am not sure where they were yet on the 1920 census but, in 1930 I find Birda remarried to a Earnest Bowman. They have Willard and Opal living with them, neither have married yet. Then there are two daughters listed, May and Pauline Bowman. If you have any information on this family, I would love to talk with you about them. Ida Lassiter was the daughter of Francis Asberry Lassiter, the son of Jesse Lassiter of Independence Co., AR.
