There was a John W. HOLLOWAY (1873-1940), who 1st wife was Georgia WILLIAMS (1881-?). They show up on the 1900 census of Independence County (Salado Twp), with a son Andrew Jack(son) HOLLOWAY, born c. 1898. They also had a daughter Jewell HOLLOWAY, b. c. 1903. I don't know what happened to Georgia, but John remarried on 25-Dec-1908 in Jackson Co. to Grace/Gracie ROBERTS (1884-1930). Though John & Grace had 5 children of their own. I never really have found much on the 2 children from his 1st marriage. Jewell shows up on the 1920 Independence Co. census in the HH or "Will TAYLOR", listed as niece, but that is about the extent of my knowledge. Will be glad to send more lineage if this makes sense.
