Vines, Director, Agricultural Extension Service has announced. The appointment was effective February 16, subject to the approval of the president of the University of Arkansas. Miss White is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Quinton H. White of DeQueen. She was graduated from Henderson State Teachers College in January where she was a member of Alpha Chi, Kappa Delta Pi and the National Honorary Scholastic fraternity.
