Hello, On April 28, 1908 there was a 65 ton Steamboat that was capsized near Helena. It was called the Marian. On board was the Wright Carnival Co. and at least 60 people died . The captain from Jackson Co.,Newport was Capt. Joyce and an engineer by the name of William Berry also from Newport. William Berry was one person that was lost on the Mississippi from the storm. I'm looking for my grandfather, William Saker Berry. Does anyone have any knowledge as to the history of this event? Thanks, Barbara
