Sheila: My sister-in-law who lives in Oil Trough, Independence County, Arkansas, is a Goodman, I believe. I don't think her name was Goodman, but one of her sister's is a Goodman. Her name is Lola Long (I can't remember her maiden name right this minute). She also has some Goodman relatives in Newark, Independence County, Arkansas. Does this ring any bells with you? There was a Goodman's Grocery Store in Oil Trough at one time. I think there a several people related to them with other last names.
