I found their marriage record in Jackson County, Arkansas in 1851. They left for Jefferson County, Arkansas, and then on to Illinois in 1862. Near Belleville, IL, Mary Jane died and is buried 'along the trial'. John and the children went to Jefferson County, Illinois and settled there. We do not know very much about Mary Jane or her parents, siblings, etc. Any help would truly be appreciated.
