The siblings are possibly Elvira and Daniel. The parents died and the children were "adopted" out to neighbors. Elvira is listed on the 1870 Village Township census with a Fowler family and Daniel is listed as an orphan on the same census with a Truman family. Elmira Mendoza Kelly was born June 20, 1844 and Married Stephen Warren White November 17, 1870. She is listed with a Robinson family on the 1870 Villiage Township census, (next door to Stephen and his first wife) I have heard from relatives that up to WWII that Elmira received some kind of paments from the English government.
