I was interested to find your message seeking information on the Tims family Tree. I have little knowledge here of my own Tims anscestry. My Grandfather Tims, William James Tims supposedly went to America about 1924, and was thought to have stayed or maybe settled in New York, having worked aboard merchant ships, so my own father does not remember him, and knows so little about him. It seems there are many TIMS in your country so you must have a hard job locating all your anscestors. I have recently tried to trace my own grandfather Tims with no success. I wanted to find out what happend to him while my own father is still alive. It seems that there is no trace of him having died here in the UK so I assume he died in the United States. Do you know if you have any connection with any Tims here in the UK? My Grandfather Tims was born and lived for a time in Teddington, Middlesex before moving here to Devonshire. I was wondering if you have any contact with any Tims me! mbers who were related to William James Tims, born 1880, Kingston on Thames,Middlesex. He was son of Charles and Corelia. I wish you success in your searches and if you could shed any light upon my own search I would be very grateful to you. Best wishes, Mervyn Tims.
