I have a LR Burgess age 33 b. in Arkansas marrying a Sarah (Silvertooth) Cloninger age 27 in 1889 in Baxter County Arkansas. This is the second marriage for her. So, I was thinking that this may have been a second marriage for him also. My grandmother lists his name as Lee Roy Burgess/Burgiss/Burges. His name may have been LeRue. Just can't prove it.
