Karen, I searched and found a few items. In Jackson County, Arkansas is one probate record listed on the genweb. It is for Lou Tozer, a female under age 18 who is Bond of George K. Tozer, guardian. dated 9-26, 1880 In Illinois on their on line marriage index, I found George K. Tozer who married Martha Irwin on 10-1-1860 in Cook County, Illinois. This is the Chicago area. In 1900, George K. Tozer is listed in Alvin Precinct, Brazoria Co., Texas. He is 55 years old, and it stated he was born in May 1842. He is married to a woman named Nannie F. and has 3 daughters, Emily H., Georgia and Virginia. In 1910 George K. is listed in Houston, Harris Co., Texas and is listed as 71 years old, in his second marriage of 24 years to Nancy T. who was born in Mississippi. They have 3 children, Georgia age 21 born in Missouri, Virginia age 15 born in Arkansas and Leonard age 7 born in Texas. According to the Texas death index which is on line at Ancestry.com; George K. Tozer died 25 July 1911 in Harris Co., Texas and Nannie Fletcher Tozer died 7 Dec 1933 in Harris Co., Texas. Nannie is living with her son Leonard in Houston in the 1930 census. Did not find her in 1920. My guess is that she is with one of her daughters. Also a guess, but Fletcher may be her maiden name. Hope this gives you a couple of clues. Carol in St. Louis, Mo.
