Roberta, I am really interested in your Summers family. Are they from Jackson Co? My mother was Dollie Summers born 1915 in Grubbs, Jackson Co Ark on the Hurricane farm, She married Dad there and they moved to Jonesboro, Craighead Co where she lived the rest of her life, just dying last October, Her father was Fred S ummers also of Grubbs, he had brothers William Wesley and John Franklin and a sister Carrie B. Fred's first wife was Ella Burton Billings, she died when was was three years old then Fred married Pavada Donaldson who had been married twice before to Ed Flowers and Robert Watts. Fred and Ella are buried next to each other in Ballew's Chapel Cemetery and Pavada is buried across the street in the newer part of the cemetery If anyone these names sound familiar, would love to talk with you.
