    1. Re: [ARJACKSO] Funeral Home
    2. Rita Grigsby
    3. There could be several funeral homes that might have handled the service. Currently, both Jackson's Funeral Homes, Inc., 1900 Malcolm, Newport, AR 72112 & Dillinger Funeral Home, 2001 Hwy 367 North, Newport, AR 72112 in Jackson County provide service for the Tupelo area, as well as do Woodruff County funeral homes such as Thompson-Wilson in McCrory and Rhodes Funeral Home in Augusta. Tupelo sits about equal distance from all 3 of these towns. There might have been other funeral homes involved if the burial was many years ago. Also, it's not unheard of for a funeral home from as far away as 100 miles to conduct a service here. An obit might help. There was supposedly at least 10-14 children born of this union and their descendants are still living in Independence Co., AR and in Jackson Co., AR. I have only been able to find Albert and Mollie on the 1920 census for Jackson Co., AR living in Bird Township with two of their younger children: Edna, age 17, and Lesley, age 14. I believe that Haryl and Fairyl ANDERSON (who own a barbershop in Southside Batesville) are descendants of Albert and Mollie somehow but haven't gotten to speak to them yet about their descendancy. If anyone has any information on this ANDERSON family, I would appreciate the help. Thanks, Bonnie Graves

    1. Dr R P Watson
    2. Roger Harvell
    3. Interested in any information about the death of Dr. Robert P Watson. I have the Goodspeeds bio on him, and recently read that he was shot and killed by his son-in-law, Robert Simmons. This would have been about September of 1894 presumably in Jackson County. Anybody know of a source I could contact that might have this story? Anybody on this list researching this family? Any information on either of these men will be much appreciated. Thanks, Roger
