She married James Gibbs (Gibb) Albright (b 1872, Izard County). I've learned that he was a school man (even had a grade school named for him) in Newport, Ark. I know they had four kids: Alton Gray "Gray" Albright (I actually met him one time), Vertie (named for Ida's sister Vertula Eldridge), Lucile and Ruth. I know they lived in the Cushman, Arkansas, area around 1900. What I'm most interested in at this point us where are James and Ida buried? Any other particulars would be very welcome as well. Yes, this is the family that moved to Washington state. I did not ever know John, as he died before I married his grandson. (We are now divorced.) I did, however, know his daughter Glenda (my former mother-in-law) quite well and one of her sisters, Wilma, who probably has the most interesting stories in the family. I am not quite sure what you are looking for in family stories. If you would like, you may email me directly at loozoo5@hotmail.com and I will give you my phone number so we can talk. It does sound like I have found the correct family, which is exciting! I hope to hear from you again soon. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. According to one census, three of their children died young. The ones who lived were Ruth(a), John, and Aubrey. You say your son is descended from this couple through John. Is he from the part of the family that moved to Washington state? If you have any family stories you can pass along, I'd greatly appreciate it. It's about a mile or two out of Cash, and my grandparents are buried there. The town of Cash, and Johnson cemetery are both located in Craighead county. There are some Prines buried in Watson Cemetery near Newport, but I'm not sure how, or if, they fit into your family, and they were more recent burials than the cemetery inventory I've seen online, which I think was done in 1968. 2. Kay, I too found Calvin M. Prine in the 1880 census in Douglas Co., Missouri and again in 1900 in Campbell Twsp., Douglas Co., Missouri enumerated with his son John M. Prine and his family. Calvin is listed as age 75, a widower born Sept. 1824 in Tennessee. I could not find him in Jackson Co., Arkansas and according to your statements he would have been deceased by 1908. I did however look on the Douglas Co., Missouri death index that is on line and one of the sons, Jefferson T. Prine died there on 3-2-1953 and is buried in Walnut Grove Cem in Smallest, Missouri. His parents are listed as Calvin Prine and Elizabeth Smith. His wife who died in April 1938 is listed as Martha Jennings Prine. According to this record, Jeff was born in Springfield, Mo. which is in Green County. Hope this helps you a little with your search.
