La Paz County AZGenWeb http://www.rootsweb.com/~azlapaz/ has been going through a bit of growth in this last week! New pages have been added, existing pages updated, new subjects added, and two NEW projects added! The two new projects: 1. The AZGenWeb Gravestone Photograph Project. Just waiting for your photos to be added to it! http://arizonagravestones.org/index.php/cid_7 You can scan your La Paz County cemetery photos and upload them yourself or you can send them to me and I will upload them for you. 2. Tha LaPaz County Old Newspaper Abstracts. http://www.newspaperabstracts.com/arizona/lapaz/index.shtml To submit a newspaper article to this project is very easy. The only requirement for now is the newspaper articles need to be prior to 1930. So if your local newspaper began publication prior to 1930, it would be great to have any articles and news storiesof the day about communities in La Paz County submitted. LaPaz county lines may have been drawn in 1983 but the some of the communities were established before 1870, Ehrenberg and La Paz City for instance.
