    1. TROUTMAN Families in Phoenix in 1910 and 1920 ( LEWIS )

    3. Hello, After my posting yesterday, I decided to check out some Census data about the TROUTMAN families in Phoenix. In 1910, there was a James TROUTMAN in a household with Peter SULLIVAN as Head. Three gentlemen in their 30's were listed as "partners." There was a Leo TROUTMAN, 47, also from Missouri, but the handwriting is too light to find him on the sheet. In 1920, there were 5 TROUTMAN households: Charles and Mary TROUTMAN, 39 and 41, from Kentucky. Harry and Maude TROUTMAN, 21 and 22, from Ohio. Lewis and Mary TROUTMAN, 30 and 30, and Lewis, Jr., 4, from Kentucky. (also sister, Flora TROUTMAN, 14) Mrs. Tilda TROUTMAN, 67, widow, from Missouri, and sons, Lew ?? TROUTMAN, 46, and James TROUTMAN, 44. ... These were the families living in Phoenix in 1920. My "long lost uncle," "Dean" LEWIS arrived in Phoenix at some point after 1950. He seemingly had a step-son, Gary TROUTMAN, when he passed away in 1996. So, my "guess" is that "Dean" LEWIS married a .. Mrs. _____ TROUTMAN, who had two daughters, Eileen and Linda, and a son, Gary, at the time of their marriage. I was just wondering if anyone could connect up descendants of the TROUTMAN families from 1920 .. to .. my uncle's wife .. possibly in the 1960's. Thank you for your time. Betty (near Lowell, MA) P.S. Someone from the Maricopa County List wrote to tell me of a news article from 1919 which mentioned there was a Deputy Sheriff .. James TROUTMAN.
