I have posted this query before, but never heard from anyone so thought I would try again. I am searching for information on Anna E. Durkee who was, apparently from news stories, a well-known mining woman in Arizona mining. I have info that she was involved in the Dardenelles Mining Group and the Tungsten Girl mine. This would have been 1914-192? or 1930s. I have reviewed info from earlier research and was reminded from notes that she may have been involved in mining in Arizona much earlier than that...about 1907 or 1908. A claim filed in Wrangell, Alaska was to have been operated by a corporation to be formed under Arizona Law. Is there someone on the list that is knowledegable about mining in the Kingman, Az area or just in Arizona? I would really appreciate your assistance in my quest to find Anna. Thanks!
