My husbands deceased mother has a missing 1st husband....just disappeared, left the family. One rumour is that her brother killed him! Yikes. I'm waiting for a death record to show up, lol. Of course that won't help if he's buried in the woods! Wish people would fess up to lies & cover ups on their death beds---would make it easier for us researchers. Wonder what skeletons I should let out of the closet before I die? LOL
