They stated they had no record of her death, however, I didn't try the probate courts. Will try that next. Soc. Sec. record indicates her last residence as L.A. but her death was in Arizona (no town or county noted). Arizona is a closed state for the record I'm trying to locate but they will search if I can prove a kinship. I may have to do as they request. Thanks again.
