Howards family originally from Berkley California I am seeking information on behalf of the remaining crew of the aircraft and the Belgian family that rescued them when the plane crashed in Belgium in 1944 and were hidden by the Belgian resistance and local families who are desperate to find any living relatives of Howard's. Plane : B-17 BOMBER nick name " RED DRAGON " - serial number 43-37951 Command : 8th Air Force Group : 379th bomb group Squadron : 527th Operating from Kimbolton airfield UK.
