Jean my surgery went well. Had it back in 2006 and two weeks apart. I know you will be glad to get it done. Ed and I both have had to have it done. I still use glasses when I read, but can watch T.V. just fine with out them. My Prayers is for tour son That thing look up for him. Cooler weather is nice. Could still use some rain. I brought my vines inside. Don't think they were in danger, but has to be done sooner or later. Maybe things will pick up on the list when it gets to cold and bad to be out side. Take care. I am coming out of hiding to say hello. I think this has been a challenging year, and since I am still working, I seem to be not much good for anything! I owe everyone an apology for not being actively involved. If I ever get to retire, I know that I will be back in full swing! Junebug, if you are listening, I am scheduled for cataract surgery this upcoming week, and the next. I hope mine goes as well as yours appeared to have. I am scheduled with someone who is listed as an pioneer in this area, and has been doing it for 20 years, so I am hoping for good results. I don't think on it, or I might get nervous. From what he says, it's over quickly, and from all the testimonials, I will see much clearer. How is everyone? I hope things are going well for each of you. It's nice to see fall come to cool things down somewhat. How's Oregon, Pat? Starting to get a little colder in your area? Right now, I really could use some prayer for my oldest son. He retired from the Navy in July and moved his family to Huntsville, AL. Because of all the defense and military facilities there, he had very high hopes of getting a good job to provide for his family. So far, all he has had is advice to network, network, network, which might be easy if he knew a lot of people, but being new to the area, that is not always easy to do. But, he had a couple of retired officers who took him out to lunch and gave him some good advice, and he feels better. It's just that with a major cut in defense scheduled with the present administration, and a lot of defense facilities scheduled to send out pink slips, it's not the best time to be looking for a job in those areas. So, I have to believe that God is the ultimate Provider and that some door will open for him somewhere. But, I do appreciate any of you who feel led to pray. As for research, how are you all doing? Any great discoveries? I know some of the Jeffery kin scheduled a get-to-gether this summer. How did that go? Did any of you participate? I hope this will be a good week for you and hang in there, I think you will see some activity when the weather gets bad and people are indoors more. God Bless All. Thank you, Junebug. I appreciate your prayer support for Kevin. I think you will see more activity as the winter comes on. You know this list, it has a life of its own! :) On 10/7/2012 7:57 PM, Junebug wrote: > Jean my surgery went well. Had it back in 2006 and two weeks apart. I know > you will be glad to get it done.
