Anyone who is related to the late Rev. Shelby King of Zion, the following appeared in Days Gone By in the Batesville Guard a few days ago. The original date on it was 9/27/1917: The Rev. Shelby King, a well-known Baptist minister of Izard County, died last Monday at his home at Zion after a relapse from an attack of measles. He was pastor of several churches in Izard County. He leaves a widow and several children and a host of friends. The remains were buried at Zion Hill Cemetery.
