His parents were Charles Weatherford, a Scottish trader and Sehoy, A Creek Indian Princess, who was 1/2 Indian. Sorry, no dates! Some of his relatives inclde, John"Jake" Weatherford and Patty Dyer, Rosanna Weatherofrd and Joseph Shomo, Elizabeth Weatherford and Samuel Takkes-Hadjo Moniac, Alexander McGlivery and Martha Pollard, Johh Hadley Weatherford and Martha Avery, Mary Letitia Weatherford and Dr. William Forbes Howell, Captain Charles A. Weatherford and Martha Virginia Staples. i found a great website(Hope this works) Creek Indian Chiefs and Leaders AccessGenealogy---go to the end of it to Additional Indian Resources and fyou will find a goldmine about the Weaterfords! If that doesn't work try www.accessgenealogy.com/native/tribes/creek/creekchiefs.htm. There are also censues, etc. and also tells about The Battle of Horseshoe Bend that he was in, etc. Also a writeup by Carol Middleto called, Some Creek Families and Friends. Enjoy. Glenna Goodwin
