Dan W. Jones, Major General Commanding U. C. _?_, signed L. Ann (nee Jones) Redman's/Redmond's Civil War pension file, along with A. E. Moore, Secretary of State, and O. C. Ludwig Auditor, on 10 August 1905. It appears as if Dan may be the same Daniel W. Jones who served in I & C, 23 MO Infantry. If so he also applied for pension from Arkansas. The date of filing was 3 November 1883 and the date his widow filed was 29 September 1931. Both filed from Arkansas. Vera, what do you have in your book on Dan's and his widow's pensions? All, is anyone a descendant of this Daniel W. Jones? If so, what can you tell me about him? Lee Anne
