Are there other Owens Family researchers on this site? I am seeking to exchange information and research problems with other members of the James "Wadge" and Asenith Chase Owens family. Hi Kenny, We are not directly related to the James "Wadge" and Asenith Chase Owens, but several Owens married into our Ware, Shelton and McCarty lines so we have accumulated some information from "cousins". In our paper file we have James' parents as: James Owens b. 1802 in Rutherford, NC, d. 1865 in Gordon Co. GA, m. 29 Oct 1837 in Rutherford, NC. to Priscilla Prishy Waldrop b. 1813 Rutherford, NC, d. 12 April 1895 in Walker GA. We have a listing of James and Priscilla's children, and wondered which line you come from?
