    2. While we are on the Indian...Does anyone have any info on a Chief Weatherford- who may have been on the settlement on White River about 1815/17.? I have a Letishea(?) Weatherford who married William Clifton, their daughter Mellisa married Soloman Byrd She was born in 1826. Would like any info on them...     3. That's very interesting, Joyce. I never knew there was a Chief Weatherford. The Weatherford name I had always thought of as English. Having Weatherfords connected to my Langston family, makes me curious.
