Myrlene or Roger, Do you or anyone else on the list know WHERE Ella died in 1961 and what month and day in 1961? The 1930 federal census has William and Ella in Jefferson, Izard Co., AR. As you may remember, Ella (Redmon) Gault was the half-sister of my great-grandmother Leona Bernice Montgomery who married John Wesley Boler in Izard County AR and were the parents of Minnie Boler and my Henry Garland Boler. Ella and Leona had the same mother, Laura Ann Jones who married William Franklin Montgomery, and after he died, Lafayette "Lee" Redmon. As part of my genealogical research I am going to write for a copy of Mary Luella Gault's death certificate to verify that it lists her mother as Laura Ann Jones (or it may list Laura Ann by her former married name Montgomery). Lee Anne,....She died at Violet Hill and is buried in Violet Hill Cemetery. Howdi All Need some help Here I go mudin the water. We have had for birth date of November 1873 the stone shows 1872 we got our info from the 1900 census records. Knowing census as we do going to change to 1873. Gault 29 md 5 May 1896 in Izard County Mary L. E. Hightower 23 The marriage info above came from the Family Search Record site. In the marriage books it shows her as Mrs Mary L. E. Hightower of Violet Hill. Jim, I hope someone is able to answer your question. When did she die? With her death date, if the state she died in collected death records during that time period, you could get her birth and death dates from her death certificate. With two of my ancestors the headstones had birth date mistakes. The death certificate confirmed that the headstone was wrong. But I also had other sources that proved it as well.
