Hazel Hill obitHazel A. Hill December 7, 1920 ~ July 20, 2012 Hazel A. Hill, 91, was taken home to be with her precious Lord and Savior, whom she loved so much, on July 20, 2012, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Alonzo and Sally Gulley on December 7, 1920, in Twin Creek, AR. Hazel married her beloved husband, James Hill, on October 19, 1940, in Melbourne, AR. Hazel had four daughters whom she adored. In 1963, Jim and Hazel moved with their daughters to the Wenatchee Valley, where she was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, gardening, quilting, sewing and collecting dolls. She cherished her time with each and every one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved telling her many friends about them all. Hazel Hill was a beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will forever be missed by all. She is survived by her daughters, Imogene "Jean" Sims (Toby) of East Wenatchee, Earlene Johnson (Riley) of East Wenatchee, Yvonne Hill of East Wenatchee and Althea Fife (Alan) of Ellensburg. She is also survived by a sister; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hill; three sisters; and five brothers. Viewing will be held at Heritage Memorial Chapel in East Wenatchee on Thursday, July 26, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place Friday, July 27, 2012, at King's Orchard Church of Christ in Wenatchee at 11:30 a.m., with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Hazel Hill's name.
