That is great information. Did the transcription of the tax book cite a book and page number for the tax book listing? I am trying to verify by tax records in Warren County KY that Samuel Billingsley was there in 1839 and then left and migrated to Fulton County / Izard County AR by the spring of 1840. The Billingsley Family (Billingsly-Billingslea) in America by Harry Alexander Davis said that Samuel and family moved to Warren County KY about 1839 and then moved to AR, arriving during the spring of 1840, where in April they purchased property half a mile east of Franklin. familysearch.org has images of some records online. Occasionally I have been looking to see what they have posted. I'm hoping that Samuel was in Warren Co. KY long enough to warrant a tax listing and that maybe familysearch.org will have an image of that soon. Thanks again Millie.
