I am a Manna House volunteer and many times people will bring pictures there that they no longer want. Anyway I try to find someone who would like to have these pictures. I have two sets of pictures that I would like to describe and see if there is anyone who might want these. I have 6 older picturesin the first set. The first is of a young woman, maybe in her 30's. Looks like a studio picture and written on the front is: "With Love, Eleanor". With this are two more that are in what looks like, but probably isn't, a leather frame, brown with gold trim. They are 5 x 7's and look like kodiak/camera pictures that have been enlarged. One shows a good looking man standing by a snowman in front of (looks like) a 3 story house. The other shows the same man only this one has a young girl with him, snow on the ground; in front of same house. The man is wearing a soldiers cap in both pictures. In one he has on what looks like a windbreaker jacket, in the other he has on a long coat. The next one is of a man and woman who are probably in 40's, or 50's. I would guess this may have been made in the early 1900's. Next is a picture of a little boy and girl. The little boy, maybe 3 yrs., has on a long dress, and the little girl has a dress that maybe was worn in the early to mid 1900's; has a big bow in her hair. The next picture is in a cardboard frame that opens up. The picture is about 2 3/4 in. wide and 5 3/4 in. long. On the picture is engraved what looks like: GUITES. It is a young girl, very pretty, long hair, maybe 13-16 yrs. The last one is a more recent picture of a young woman, short hair. She is wearing a big brooch at the collar of her dress. It has been inscribed "Lovingly, Mac" (or could be Mae). This was made at Nicholson Studio, 1308 Peoria Life Building, Peoria (Illinois?) If anyone has any knowledge of these, please let me know.
