Wilma, No problem! :) I had sent out a bunch of attachments to different people, then heard from one that he could not open it, so realized that if he couldn't, then perhaps all the others could not as well. Being new to Windows 8 operating system, and picking up a freebee substitute for Micro Soft Word, the program that I downloaded, Libre Office, asks if you want to save as .odt.... I figured that perhaps it was a newer system which would be more updated to match other peoples' stuff, so did.
