Jim, In going through old notes saved in my FTM files, I came across this message, and in reading something saved on Jehoida Jeffery, I found this from TJ Harper: John Langston and Jehoidia Jeffery are both listed as members of Col. Wm. Russells Reg. "sworn to service July 12, 1814, 12 mos. duty on the frontiers of Mo. and Ill." Battle of the Sink Hole - Goodspeeds History of S.E. MO>tjh Given how many people married into the same families, and moved to new locations together, it seems logical that the wife of Jehoiada Jeffery and the wife of John Langston (both being Wares/Weirs), that it is a good possibility that these Ware sisters. Any conclusions since this old message was posted (many years ago)? Thanks. Jean Cuevas Hi, We are one of those Ware (Weir, Wear) researchers, but what we have so far is very little. Nathan Langston (son of Caleb and Elizabeth) m. Patty Weir 14 Aug. 1812 in St. Clair Co. IL. [from previous postings on this list] No birth year for Patty but prob in the 1790's. John Langston m. Nancy Ware 1 Feb. 1804 in Livingston Co. KY. Again no birth year for Nancy. Mary "Polly" Ware (b. 1793 S.C.)m. Jehoiada Jeffery 12 Feb 1811 in Union Co. IL. We have assumed that this Polly is the daughter of Samuel Ware of Independence and Sharp Co. Samuel's will lists a dau. Polly, but no married name. We have tried to find the parents of Patty, Nancy and Mary "Polly", individually or collectively, but have no primary documentation which would link them together. Any additions would be appreciated. Corrections are requested. Jim and Wanda (Ware) Hobbs
