I believe this is the same Norwood I think I belong to although my info is a bit different. John was a Capt in the war but is referred to as "General" (haven't found the reason for this) and his wife was Jane Pickens. Their daughter Jean/Jane did marry Robert Guthrie, Sr. I believe my John is their son mentioned in the will. He and Samuel appear in Franklin Co, TN where my Nancy was born. Do you have anything further on the family?
