Beth, Well, we have ALEXANDERS and JAMES in common, although maybe not in the same areas of the country. My James came from Rowan County, NC and I think that it was NC before it became TN? My Alexanders came from PA , NC to Wayne County, TN before making more moves. Jean, If I have the families straight on these, I believe that they both may have traveled through NC. There is so much dispute on the James, I'm really uncertain but the Alexander group definitely passed through. I still have such huge gaps in these families where there is uncertainty about the identity of the ancestor or total lack of information or some vague records but nothing that confirms that they individual is the ancestor. These are some of the families drove me up the wall and the reason that I haven't been there in awhile. Will keep looking Jean!
