We are planning a Bruce Family reunion at Lake Texoma on Memorial Day weekend (May 24/25 2015). We had several reunions years ago in Melbourne and Monett, Ar. There are a lot of surnames related to the Bruce's from Izard Co. and we sure want them to come. We have 44 now who say they will be there. The Pavilion holds about 150 people and has a full kitchen for preparing and storing food, plenty of room for kids to play. The marina has all facilities for boating, etc. There are very nice hotels close by, we stayed at one in Durant at our last reunion, it's 12 miles, and takes only a few minutes to get to the lake. There are electrical plugs all around the pavilion for Computers, IPads, fans, etc. Several of us bring our genealogy information and exchange data and pictures. I brought my lap-top and downloaded a lot of pictures from other people's cameras. I also brought my printer, which I will do again. I printed out my genealogy data in 05 and it is in three-4" binders. Need to print it out again, hopefully before the reunion.
