Hi Everyone! Effective 4/8/l4 Microsoft will no longer support Internet Explorer. Google Chrome will be doing this. Your anti-virus should be giving you some indications of a problem. Don't ignore it! The instructions should appear on your anti-virus on how to do this. If you use internet explorer and have not made the changes, you will be subject to viruses. I tried to download it, but my computer was too old to handle the update so I bought a new one using Windows 7. Since this affects everyone on the list at some point, I felt I should pass on this info. Sue
I'm not sure about what Goggle Chrome will be doing. Any idea? I "heard", but have seen nothing official, that in an "update" to XP they will install a nag program telling you that XP is no longer supported and you need to upgrade to Windows 8. On April 9, 2014 XP will continue to work as it did on April 7, with the possible exception of the nag screen. It should keep working for the foreseeable future, unless Microsoft sends down a "kill upgrade". The major antivirus makers will continue to cover virisus's and malware. In other words you don't have to panic right away. At some point you will need to do something different, but for right now..........................
