Thanks for the Gault info. I had some of it but not all. I found an old letter from one of my mother's sisters and she said Beulah was "aunt Sucky's" daughter. I don't know how they got" Sucky" for Martha but I guess that is one of those mysteries that I may never solve. Thanks again for taking time to send this. Myrlene
I bet there's a family story somewhere about how she got that nickname. Probably lost sadly. I have a cousin "Squeaky". Her name is Susan Carol. To this day I have a hard time remembering not to call her "Squeak(y)" in public. As the story goes she got the nickname from our greatgrandmother, who had her own interesting nickname that the story to is now lost.
