I was not raised by my dad, who was the connection that I have to Izard County, but I know that when he was alive and his youngest children were growing up, he had a close friend by the last name of Hightower that he mentioned in his letters. In past years, we have had a lot of Hightower researchers on this list. With my having had a couple of crashes and losing all my old messages, I no longer have them to refer back to. I do have one Mary Jane Hightower listed in my FTM program: Descendants of Mary Jane Hightower 1 Mary Jane Hightower .. +John Finley *2nd Husband of Mary Jane Hightower: .. +Willis Battles No dates or further information on her. But, we can see that she was not yours. Thanks for sharing the information. I will keep it for any future researchers who might come along, and need to contact you. About the only safe thing has been my FTM program!
