    3. It's springtime in California. The days in Thousand Oaks have been in the 70's with Los Angeles at least 10 degrees hotter. We sure didn't have much rain this year so it's really going to be dry this year. Have been slowly plugging along with my genealogy research. Just back from my daughters of the confederate meeting. Hve 2 more weeks left of my bible study then can get actively back to researching. Have a great weekend everyone. Had some really beautiful days. Then it's supposed to go into the trash tomorrow for a couple days. Heavy thunderstorms with a chance of large hail and tornadoes. Then, Monday morning, SNOW in some parts. Gotta love it. Looks like it will be heading towards Arkansas after it's through with us. Be prepared. For as long as I've known anything about my "Richardson's" there was a story that we were related to the famous Confederate General, Bill Richardson. Well.............................we all know how "stories" go. I found out, first, he wasn't a general, second, he wasn't in the Confederate Army. He was a Captain in the Union Army. Company G, Phelps’ regiment of Missouri Volunteers. I found confirmation of Delia [ sometimes Delila ] Short was married to my William Walsh. Her family was in Fulton County in the late 1800's. And, unrelated to Arkansas and Izard county in particular. I discovered the final resting place of my adoptive father.
