Gen, I don't have alot on the Boulware's---just haven't done much--have too many names to do I think! I found this great website on them that might help your friend.  Look up Grace Boulware on Web Search.  On page 1--- go down to Boler family---3 sites from the top of page.  There are pages and pages of Bowlers, Boulware, Bolers.  I did find one Truman Clyde Boulware born in Jan. 1844-1966 m. Connie Davenport.  I did find one Atkinson, Mary (Atkinson) Rutherford.   I know none of these are what you were looking for, but since these names showed up, they may be in the family, but I just haven't found them.   Sorry I couldn't be any more help.  Glenna Goodwin
