This is my first cousin, known as Keith ROBERTSON.  His wife Ted Deane (nee JONES ) died in 2009 and they celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary just before her death.  They had moved from their home in Harrison and were living at Apple Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Centter where they both died.  Rose CROSBY, a ROBERTSON relative, mailed his obituary to me.  Keith attended Mountain Home schools.  His father and uncle owned the ROBERTSON General Store on the Square in Mountain Home. Robert "Keith" Robertson, 92, of Harrison, died Tuesday, Sept. 21 (2010) at Harrison. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Holt Memorial Chapel.  Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Baxter Memorial Gardens in Mountain Home.  Dr. David Artman will officiate.  Pallbearers will be grandsons.  Honorary pallbearers are the staff at Apple Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. The son of Theodore Brewer and Cleora {King} Robertson was born Aug. 15, 1918, at Cotter.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II.  During his lifetime, Keith owned and operated many businesses, the first being Rowland's Store, which was on the West side of the Harrison Square.  Others include Tom Bar, which he owned for 10 years, Banta Peach Orchard in Batavia, the Bataviaa junk yard, and three funeral homes in Mountain Home, Melbourne and Calico Rock. Keith was very active in his club activities, some of which included being a charter member of the Elks Club of Harrison; a lifetime member of the Free Masons No. 225 in Mountain Home; a member of the Shriners of North America; a 32nd Degree Mason of the Scimitar Temple of Little Rock; and a licensee of the Arkansas State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ted Deane Robertson and his parents. Survivors include a son W. B. "Bill" Robertson of Ponca City, Okla.; a daughter, Susan L. Hailey, of the home; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice or the First Christian Church Youth Group, 915 South Maple, Harrison, Ark. 72601. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
