    3. Thanks Janice, after only a day or two of Live Mail, I am beginning so see a lot of similarities to Express. There was a "starter' program on the new machine for Word and Excel, but it goes away after a month or two unless you pay them. I had purchased a copy of "Microsoft Office XP Small Business" a few years back and just on a hunch last night, I loaded Word and Excel from that old disc and it worked like a charm. I don't have all the bell and whistles of the newer versions, , but it's much cleaner and easier to use. Since I use it basically for my own records, it's ideal for me. You might want to look at someplace like www.dealnews.com ....They don't actually sell anything, they just put you in touch with the folks who have it for sale and at the very best prices. They are head-quartered here in Huntsville and a friend of mine has a son who works for them. They sometimes have some fantastic bargains on both computers and software at close-out prices.....
