I also saw where here name is listed in a bk in Lawrence Co abt the soldiers for the CSA. Her first marriage was to a George W Wells, so she is listed as Brunetta Stubblefield Wells. She *may* have applied for a pension in his name as to why she was listed that way. I don't know as this is just an index. I googled "Brunetta Stubblefield" is how I found these things.
